Its the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!
Our in-house competition review system.
|
Part of any good business practice is keeping a watchful eye on the competition. We at RapidPeer, on a weekly basis, review the offers of our competitors. Additionally, at times we will purchase and test their service for speed and reliability. We are’nt covert, sneaky or unfair when we review other seedbox service providers. At the end of the day we would like to be your seedbox provider, but we dont want to see anyone screwed. |
The GOOD:
Xirvik Torrents – After a clean signup via paypal it took about 6 hours for our login info (we did order at around midnight Europe time, site states less than 12 hours setup). We ordered the torrent flux package as this is a big stress test on servers. While you wont get the best speeds with TorrentFlux at any provider, i wanted to see if Xirvik was overselling their CPU essentially.
I was happy to see the interface was responsive and snappy and load level (some what meaningless depending on server OS) were around 1.00 which is good.
The speeds were OK ranging around 30mbit download and similar on the upload. Again, this was a shared account i had bought.
If you dont like us for some reason, Xirvik seems good, and have a good reputation around.
The BAD:
SuperSeedbox.com - This is a report from a RapidPeer “Live help support user chat session” asking about our seedboxes:
| Support: Hello Ron, my name is RapidPeer, how may I help you? |

| hi I had a few questions about ur seedboxes |

The UGLY:
TorrentSwift - We waited nearly a week for our login info after paying via paypal. We Emailed their support AND sales twice in this week and never got a reply. 6 days after the order we filed a paypal reversal (opened dispute). Within minutes of this we received a email asking if we wanted an account or to cancel, we said cancel.
We have no interest in testing/commenting on a seedbox provider who only replies when a PayPal dispute is opened.
Have an experience you want us to post?
Are you a provider who wants to respond?
